I was pleasantly surprised with this cute film. It had the exact flavor of romance that I love seeing in movies and books, with the perfect touch of whimsy. I won't spoil the movie for anyone, but basically, it's about a soldier (Paul Sutton) who comes home from war to the woman he married in a whirl before going to war. He's a chocolate seller, and she encourages him to leave to figure some things out. On his journey, he meets Victoria, a Mexican American woman who is pregnant and terrified of telling her father, because the father of the child has abandoned her. Paul offers to help her by pretending to be her husband, and this is where the movie gets really interesting. I hadn't heard of the movie before, and I'd never had anyone recommend it to me, so I thought I'd put it out there in case anyone is interested in watching it. It's the perfect movie to watch in the summer, and to enjoy on a girl's night.
